Nah, i dont think so. Ive never been impressed with Vipers, even the Hennessey Vipers. Dont get me wrong, i like them and would own over a good deal of vehicles if money wasnt really a problem, but 500hp out of 8.3L? 500hp out of 7.0L sounds better, and 550hp to the ground out of 5.4L sounds even better than that. These are heavy, inefficient motors IMO. But this thing is gonna be a killing machine.
When it's all said and done , who cares about how the powers achieved, as long as its there.....If your buying a Viper I hardly think your gonna spend time traveling all over town trying to find the cheapest gas...

i believe that the 2nd gen vipers had 415hp in the roadster and 450 in the coupe. i know that was true when they were released...

Thanks much! I thought it was 450 on the old hard top, but someone posted 505 on auto trader. Thinking about getting another one
