Bye bye 05!
My vortech made a very loud whistle at idle - but once I floored it, it was nothing but roaring exhaust noise (man, I miss that). You'd have to have Superman hearing to pick up the vortech.
he was at WOT when he passed me. that was the whole point of the race. he flew by showing off thinking he'd get me. it was definitely a twin screw scream. whether or not it was a saleen or KB, THAT i do not know.
yeah, you can't hear my blower at all under throttle. alls you can hear is the exhaust. at idle it sings, but that's about it. it makes the pssshhht noise when i let off the throttle under boost. i'm running 13psi and it makes no noise at WOT

Nice Nanaki, you are a few steps ahead of me. I was very close to buying a stroker kit, but decided I should do some clutch and suspension work before I go into the internals..I will only be pushing 400rwhp..so I think I will be fine. Oh and as far as your axle, you could get a CH axle brace...they have been rated to 900hp...cheaper than getting a new axle..though if money isnt really a problem..Id just get the axle..extra 20-30 pounds is not needed.
Probably a P-1SC Procharger, they whine ALOT. They sound almost like a roots system. Ya'll are right though, the other blowers on the 05's don't whine much like the older eaton's did on the cobra's and lightenings.
