I am hoping to make it to the track Sunday with the Cobra got some fresh rubber 275-40-18 and hoping they hook so I can run at least a 13.50. With the mods and HP I have what do you guys think and what would be a good launching technique.. Also I'm going with a few friends and here is what they have.
95 GT with A Trick Flow top end kit. 3.73's 305 RWHP and 331 TQ
94 KB Cobra 320 RWHP and 327 TQ
99 SS Camaro 4.10's 323 RWHP and 338 TQ
98 SS pretty much stock..
I feel like the slowest car other than the 98 SS. I just hope the weather holds and the IRS cooperates with me... Is a mid 13 too much to ask?? What do you think for the others also..[/align]__________________

i dont think that mid 13s would be a surprising time. i would be more surprised if you DIDNT run mid 13s.

Are you racing somewhere where DA is an issue?? A 13.5 is a pretty good time if your colarado

No I will be in OH.
I just dont wanna get pumped for say a 13.20 and then rip off a string of 13.50 all day. Besides tie 1-2 shift at WOT has horrible horrible wheel hop. Just hope to get some good runs in and cut some good 60' times I dunno though. Plus it's a heavy vert!!!

with 300hp i think you should be running faster than 13.5...... no slower than that

hmm..that is one that ive not been to...how far are you from norwalk? i dont know much about dragway 42, but i know that norwalk is a nice track, usually very well prepped...
