I think you can buy a stripped Formula. So technically, it would be the fastest LS1, well as fast as a stripped Z28.

yeah i own a 94 trans am.. LT1 obviously. ive run low 14's with it and its got 130k miles on it stock. i also have the limiter on it. and you DEFINITELY know when you hit the limit. the guy said he kept racing.. he doesnt have the limiter on his LT1.

 

Imma lil late on this one just wanted to say without the ram air hood I think they look kinda girly.

 

The limiter depends on what tires you got from the factory. when my car was stock I got up to 125 and never hit a limiter...

 

When you have the limiter, the Z28 has the V6 Speedometer, I think it only goes up to 120. You didn't get the Eagle GS-C tires, the Suspension is different, and you didn't get the performance axle.

All cars that came with the Stock toruing tires (eagle GA 235/55/16) were limited to 108 MPH. They came with the 115MPH spedo. cars that got the QLC package (eagle 245/50/16 GS-c) or the QFZ package (245/50/16 RS-A tires) available in 95 and later got the 155 spedo and no limiter.

 

What does a striped Formula have to do with anything? Stripped Formula is what I was talking about. As in, no options.

 

there was suposed to be a ? after that but my keybored is old. I was just wonder where you were getting a striped formula from? All the formy is, is just a V8 with a V6 body. Other then weighing slightly less it's just the same. The 330HP firehawk on the other hand, thats more powerfull and they are rare..
