I say its in the driver. My buddy has a 98 LS1, when he first got it the same day we went to some street races in ******, ME. I whooped his *** all night long. Cause he sat at the starting line roasting them!!!! MWHAAAAAAA... Now im not so lucky. BUT... when i get my Nitrous tuned, hes the first person im going after. Side by side at NEDW. A lot of you are forgetting that MOST F-Bodies came with a Governor at 108. You had to order the suspension and tire package to get it to do 159. ALL F-Body convertibles came with the Governor. So who knows.

He said he talked to the LT1 guy after the race and he (LT1 driver) claimed he did not stop racing. If he would've hit a wall at 108 he would've noticed, I would think. But I wasn't there so yeah, who knows. If I'm wrong I apologize.
