Sniff, sniff.........4th gear 50mph........darn near lugging it......something smells

 

You're correct about one thing finally, there are plenty of Fox 5.0's that could wipe my car's rear (and plenty of others)from here to Sunday, while not the point, here is a point for you, your Fox isn't one of them. Your Fox is ashamed of you because a 10 year old would understand that in order to win a race, you get into a gear that might actually do something.

A 10 year old would also know better to come to this forum armed with a story as disbelieveable as yours and then call the people who know you're full of crap arrogant. If you honestly think a S197 (I use the S197 for example) would take that long to wipe your **** after youstarted a race in 4th gear at 50mph you obviously think we're all just too stupid for words.

Lastly, nobody here is saying you claimed to win, try reading the words before chiming in. Someone like you, if you went to a local carhangout uttering such nonsense you'd be bitchslapped from here to Sunday.

DING DING DING DING. we have a winner. 30-35mph, fine. 50mph, no way. like tommy said, thats just dicking around. and he either wasnt racing, or decided to let you get away a little bit, THEN, downshift and show you what 300hp can do after he gives u a jump.

 

i have 373 gears in my mustang and would drop to second if i weere racing from 50mph. i don't even shift to 3rd until about 62mph. if you have stock 308's and punched it, the guy in the s197 probably didn't even notice you were trying to race because your car, if i had to guess, barely took off... learn your shift points brother

I wouldn't call it hate mode, just sick of the bullsh*t mode. On the street you get to hear stories like this only there you can laugh directly in his face. Racing at 50 in 4th, he might as well looked for the local Prius guys and asked for a slow race to see who could take the longest to 110. Ugh. Like I said, that poor Fox is ashamed to be put in such a position. I wish I could find it, and take it for the ride it deserves or even race it against another S197, it would lose but with dignity!!
