Damnit I'm at work and cant view the video. Anyways, you might have raced an 04 or 05 because those 2 years they had an LS1 in them. But if youknow for a fact that it was an LS2, thanI guess you can say your couple of bolt ons helped out alot since the CTS-V's run low 13's to high 12's stock. Nice kill man.
Actually the the prior LS2 CTS-V came equipped with the LS6..................either one is a nice kill!!!
Thank god you saved this thread from becoming a trainwreck!!!! WooT!!!

I knew they had some power, but I didn't know they had the LS2 power in them. Plus, they only weigh 3500 pounds according to their site. I'm tickled about this kill. Vid
I really hate to be the nay-say'er here, but with your mods, you really shouldn't have beaten that guy, let alone so badly. They're 400hp with 3.73's out back. I dunno. They are a wheel hoppin' MF'er though, I'll give you that.

And it weighs 3850...

A kill is a kill however, nice job...

I was thinking the same thing. I don't know what was going on, but it happened twice[&:]. That's why I jumped out the gate like a freak, because I knew that thing would pull like crazy. The first race, he started reeling me in right before the traps though.

14.6 @ 96 or so. Subtract a 1.2 seconds supposedly to get sea level times. My friend actually tested the theory when he ran down in Kansas with his LS1. He ran 13.6 best up here. In Kansas he actually ran 12.3 for some reason, but track prep, wind,etc... comes into play so many variables. 1.2 secs is what I hear. Here are some more runs from the mile high to give you an Idea of the brutality of the track.

Whats the actual elevation up there? I can nab the DA times from GLDs website and convert.

What was 60ft / 1/8th??

Hey Sidewayz.
How would a CTS-V measure up to a LS2 Goat stock for Stock? They both have similar weight, but I guess gearing in the Caddy would give it the edge?

I honestly don't know the answer to that. My dad has an '07 CTS-V, and obviously having had seat time in both cars, I'd say that the Caddy does feel faster according to my butt dyno.

I'd bet they're pretty close, but the Caddy is certainly more fun to drive.
