can't argue with you there.... What kind of mods do you have on your thunderbird?

I put them in my sig, I'm not sure if that worked too well haha. Basically it has the highly coveted 351w swap which can be slightly seen in my avatar. But the car got wrecked a few years back and it's been an uphill battle to get it back on the road ever since. I had to pull the block last week after we got it running again due to a hard knock coming from the bottom end. But it's a 1979 block thats been bored .040 over, 10.1 compression, forged internals, Can't remember the cam grind, the guy who built the short block passed away several years ago, but it's not very lopey, just a bit over stock. Has your typical edelbrock intake manifold, holley 750.. match port and polish due to stock cast iron heads being used off of a 1975 ford pick up.. not the best flow but better than most ford heads. Some shorty headers and then just odds and ends stuff from there.. nothing too fancy.

The stang is just a stock six banger automatic. Nothing to write home about, but it gets me where I need to go, and looks good while doing it haha. I have a 4.6, trans, computer that I could swap into it, but that is looking not so good, I was hoping this winter, but the snags with the bird have caused some delays with my future projects. And as for the beastly bird, it is, but at the same time it's rediculously heavy, atleast over 4000lbs with the bigger motor and myself in it. So it puts down some good power, but with the irs and weight it's considerably slower than a mustang with the same modification done would be.
