ORIGINAL: 96SilverLT1

Someone I know from another bored is making a 1/4 mile outside of hickory. by the time it's done I'll be back in NC. Maybe 98 and you Jdanial can meet up and have some runs
That would be great. I'd love to have a 1/4 track close. Too bad with it being in Hickory, rice city USA, there would be a million 16 second cars there.

Plans smams...until then, you can both look at my taillights [8D]

I'm in Statesville, you? There's a few NC people on this board, quite a few in the surrounding areas too.

Driving at the track really reveals the differences in the driver. Just because a magazine says that car x gets 14 at 100mph doesn't mean much. It depends on may things, such as conditions and driver. I high powered car can run 14's if the person can't drive, and they spin half way down the track. I've seen it. But the Ls1 vettes are good for high 12's low 13's usually.

I dunno 98. By the time I get up there I will probably be a 12 second car. Plus I have really good RT's and 60 foots. I might beat you to the line even if you get there faster then me

I have an Fbody club in charlotte. When I get back up there and get it reorginized maybe we could have a fbody VS Mustang grudge match track day or something. Sound like fun??

Well Derek, you just let me drive and I'll handle 96SilverLT1. I cut .50X lights all day long.

lol. sorry man. but last time I was at the track my worst was a 0.40. I usualy cut 0.30's.. and I'm getting better

I'm also cutting 1.95 60 foots on non Z rated street tires. some of that is the good track prep tho. My biggest issue is wheel hop when I hit 2nd. I think it's a combo of needing to put the LCA;s that I have on and getting an adjusable TQ arm to fix any pinion angle issues from installing the Moser. I'm doing the tune up soon along with the LCA's. I should see a 13.3 or 13.2 ish. Then all that will keep me from 12's is drag radials..

I would love to get a mustang/fbody track day around. It would be pretty sweet.

Thats on the new lights. .30 Mine translates into .00X I'll be at the 60' mark before you knew what happened!

The track I go to still uses .500 lights. The other track here uses the .000 LED's. I'll hang...Don't you worry.
