I've seen some fast Audi's, but I would still have to say this is my favorite...

It would appear that the OP is working with an SN-95 possibly 5.0 or maybe 4.6. There is no mods list so if its a 4.6 it could be PI or NPI who knows. I don't know how much they went for new, but right now you can pick up one of those bi turbo S4s for a little over 12K with about 35000-40000 miles around where I live. And stock they should be good for mid to low 14s with a decent driver and maybe high 13s with a great driver.

S4's have used a NA 340hp 4.2 V8 since 2004. They list for around 46K. AWD, and choice of manual or auto. They weigh around the same as a GTO and pull low-mid 13's w/ a good driver. They have some mean topend, though. Unfortunately, the V8 S4's have a rather limited aftermarket, so they don't have a lot of potential. The B5 S4's have the 2.7 twin turbo V6. They're from 1999 to 2002. They make 250hp stock, and are basement 14's, but have ridiculous potential. A GIAC or APR tune alone puts them deep into the 13's. Supporting mods will get them just into the 12's, and once upgraded turbos come into play, the sky's the limit.

Quick break down on models-

1999-2002: B5 gen, 2.7T V6, 250hp

2003- 2005: B6 gen, 4.2 na V8, 340hp

2005.5-current: B7 gen, 4.2 na V8, 340hp

upcoming 2009 S4 will be the B8 and will use a 3.0-.5 turbo V6, most likely w/ Direst Injection.....

hehe.. hehe... hehehe... [sm=drooldude.gif][sm=drooldude.gif]... want... no.. must.. have.. that.. car.... lol..

That doesn't surprise me that they're coming out with the turbo-diesel V12 either.. Audi, BMW, MB, and Saab have doing the turbo diesel concept for a long count of years in different models with different engine designs.. Still, to digress into otaka-dom.. "must have the precious, yessssssss..... stole it from us they did.. horrid fat hobbitses.. " LMAO.. Major chubby action with that car..

Ok, Ok, I'm done.. "ceases all audi leg-humping"... LOL

I really like the looks of the new audis, especially the S5. Audi has really stepped their game up in the past few years.

Its going to take some serious engineering to get that V12 Diesel down to a reasonable weight. I'm sure if anyone can do it, Audi can.

Thanks guys for sorta clearing that up. If only I knew what the damn OP was running [:@].Audis are pretty nice and fast it looks. While we're on the subject of f/i luxury cars and there potential, what has more: Twin-turbo335i or bi-turbo S4? Similar price range new, but I don't know what has forged internals and how quick each can possibly be or how much you need to put in each to make them... say 11 sec or 10sec cars? Very interesting!

When I was getting my Z06 tuned, there was a guy there his new RS4. He was getting a Miltek exhaust. They had it done before I left and it sounded awesome. It was a damn nice looking car too. The guy was drooling over me and and my brother's Z's though. I kept telling him that I loved his car. It was a sweet ride. I'd love to get one of those.

Those 335is really wake up with a tune, but I heard that BMW made it so it was damn near impossible to swap the turbosout, and that the stockers are relatively small. Just for the fact that the bi turbo S4 can be had for a hell of a lot cheaper, plus they have a pretty solid aftermarket I would say that the Audi would be the best bet if you wanted to go fast for cheap in a euro car.

And I have heard a Milltek exhaust on a v8 s4 and it sounded beautiful.
