Stock the SRT4 handles better than a GT... Even the R/T's handle better than the GT. The potential is their for the GT to outhandle the SRT/RT though. Once you reach a certain stage in FWD it becomes very very expensive and very hard to get the car to handle better.

I voted for handling. I think accelerating in a straight line is rather boring. lol I don't see the point in having a street car built with some power and then not being able to turn the corner at anything faster than 10mph because it is set up for drag.I would love to be able to afford a Vette for sweet handling and some power too.

You have to have a balance of both. I'd rather have a quick (high 12) car that can handle fairly well than a 9 second monster that fishtails all over the place any time you give it more than quarter throttle

Tell me about it. I can remember the time when I told some kid he was crazy if he thought his stage 2 would hold a candle to my stock GTO. It didn't take me long to realize they are only slow in stock form, and 90% of the time, they don't stay that way.

It's a difficult choice for me...I like the feeling of getting pushed back in the seat on hard acceleration....On the other hand, it's cool seeing the G meter on my HUD getting in the upper 80's on curves while I'm glued to the side of my seat....

I wouldn't really call the stock ones slow, even in stock trim they are still pretty quick little cars

That's true they're not slow in stock form. I prolly should've have said slower than X car istead of generalizing like that.
