Adjustable Panhard Bar - Wont Budge
So the 05 I currently own was bought used and the previous owner had already installed lowering springs and an adjustable panhard bar. The springs are Whiteline and the bar is probably also Whiteline, I believe. The Whiteline and the RTR are the only ones that I know of that are coated in grey.
Anyway, after putting on a much larger rear tire, 255 to 305, I noticed that the rear is off center by about half an inch or so.. I figure, eh, no big deal - the car already has an adjustable panhard; I'll just correct it.
Man.. Whoever the hell installed this thing must have had supernatural strength and to top it off they definitely used thread locker on the jam nuts. A lot of it.. After several swings of a rubber mallet on the wrench I was finally able to break the jam nuts free. Only to find that the adjusting nut will not budge. Now I'm not the strongest guy but I don't have noodle arms; I was giving it my all to turn that thing and that bastard was just not about it. This tells me something aint right.. I'm wondering if some of that thread locker seeped into the threads around the adjuster.
I don't know how long the bar has been installed on the car but is this normal with wear? I mean it should be fairly easy to turn the adjusting nut, right? Should I just scrap this thing and get a new panhard?

Hopefully the used Blue thread lock and not Red! You may want to try heating the nutted area with a heat gun to help break the thread lock loose.
Worst case is to remove the bar and then try the adjustment nut again.

3nigma_ , Derf00 is right about using heat. If the nut is as tight as you say, there's a possibility you might need a "heat wrench," old school talk. Use a welding torch to break that succa loose. Heat the panhard bar, not the nut, about two inches behind the nut. The heat will travel to the nut and break it loose. Be sure to wear eye protection.
