Has anyone ever modified their mass air meter to allow more flow; i.e. taking a tool and carving out as much inner unneeded parts as possible without touching the sensor? I wanted to save the money and take a dremel tool and "aerostream" the inner part as much as possible but was wondering if anyone has attempted this and noticed any results/problems? I looked at mine awhile ago and noticed there was so much blocking the air flow and I wanted to modify this. I did this for an old 98 GT that I had and never had any problems.
