Cobra Bumper Swap
Hey All,
I'm half-heartedly pondering the decision to swap my 95 Cobra's bumper for a later year. I think is was 96-98 that would fit on my 95 and 'COBRA' was superimposed on the rear instead of 'MUSTANG'.
Has anyone here who has accomplished this swap successfully provide some info? Also, where in the hell can I find a 96-98 bumper? My searches thus far have yielded no results.
Thanks in advance for your input.

Cobra Bumper Swap
Yea, what Harvey said.
As far as I know, 94-95 Cobras were the only models of the post-foxbody style to not have the superimposed COBRA on the rear.
I just curious if anyone's done this and if it's a hassle free procedure or not. Wouldn't be worth it if it was a pain.

Cobra Bumper Swap
The 99's also just had Mustang on the back and then in 01 they put the Cobra back on the back.
My buddy with his 94 did it, and its pretty straight forward, buy the new bumper have it painted and install. Rivots hold the rear bumper in place from under the tailights I believe and there are also screws from the inside that do to.
I am getting ready to do the same swap on my 94 and heres the cheapest I have found a Cobra rear bumper...Cobra rear Bumper (OEM)
Scroll down to the bottom of the page to "Rear Bumper Cover Cobra"
They sell for 200 + shipping.
Hope this helps
