Glad to here the heat worked! ...did you look into the torque specs? bolts sounded like they rusted a little...

 

nah, i only have a good 3/8 torque drive, my 1/2" torque wrench is the one with the little needle... and i cant read it when its not facing me! haha
my 3/8 wrench clicks when it hit the desired torque, but its too short to get the kinda leverage on it.

i just tightened it somewhere between godzilla tight and satan tight... seems thats where Ford had it anyways.

...Funny you say that, because I was getting the rear cover area all ready yesterday for my IRS Brace (that come's today!) ...and some of those bolt's were tough as nails! ...and you can get a impact gun on them (too tight of an area)...long story short, I'm ready to install the Brace!

 

haha ya i saw your other thread i need to get me some with zinc i hate the rust look...and tim let me know how that goes i have mine sitting here next to me but the streets arent clean enough in ohio for me to drive it to my shop
