Compound Boost Setup
Just as a comparison, here is a built up Mach 1. He made 900rwhp/850 lbs-ft with pump gas (93) + meth. A far cry from the 1200 rwhp that you are looking for on pump + meth. And yes, I did talk to the guy to verify. It's at 24psi with the meth turning on at 10-12lbs.
Yet you're going to make 1000rwhp on just pump gas, and 20psi! LOL! Let's do the math again. You are going to make 100 rwhp more than him, with 4 psi less boost, and NO meth! And on top of all that, you're doing it with less turbo! (single 78 < twin 62's) You must be God!

...The new setup is going to be based upon a new motor and a single turbo, no eaton setup.
The eaton setup was amazing for 700-800rwhp but the liter size and rotor design of the eaton is turning into a limiting factor power wise for pump gas. On E85 or race gas the eaton is still good for 1000 or more rwhp but it's just too small of a supercharger for the power goals i'm looking at.

So now that you have wrecked your car, you've had time to realize that you want even more power. So you scrap your old project, and plan on dumping vast amounts more, again, on a setup that can probably make your hp goals, but you decide to do it an unorthodox way. Dude, your never gonna be happy with the way your going about this. Your just always gonna find a little different way to make more power, then another way, then another way...
Why don't you just get that Viper, or a ZR1, or just buy a pre-built drag car from somewhere like MMR. Or just twin turbo the Cobra and get the hp you REALLY want, not try to do something that MIGHT do it.
I am not flaming, I am not taking sides, I want you to blow everyone away with your setups, sure. But if your gonna do something, do it right.
Any updates with your new setup?
So after all this drama you finally decide that the Eaton is a limiting factor in your quest for unorthodox horsepower. MFJ was right. Plus that blower setup was not designed efficiently.

93 octane was the enemy the whole time. The eaton was just convenient and cheap.
I would have went kb/whip from the beginning but they wont hold seals, that would be the logical progression of the setup.
There are plenty of vehicles and motors that are not the "best" possible way to make power but people still do, like supras, cobras, stis, evos, etc.
Would it have been better to get a custom built big block? Sure. But that's true with anything.
The 4.6 will do fine for what I want it to. It might not be the "perfect" way to create the power i'm looking at but it will create it.
I'm not sure why people keep saying twin turbo is the key. There is very little difference between twin and single. My turbo right now with the work done to it is rated at what most "low-mid range" 61s are rated at combined.
It costs me very little to keep my current turbo and see how much power it makes then swap in a bigger one once I know where i'm at.
Progress? The rotating assembly is in and being balanced on monday. The engine is sitting on the ground and will be assembled along side the car being repaired next week.
So far everything is running on schedule, if not a day or two behind.
On a side note mfj isnt right. He was also banned on svtp within half a day for saying the same stuff he does in this thread and in not so many words was called an idiot and wrong by a lot of people that actually know what they're doing. Might want to keep that in mind.
Correct, he was banned. I read the post. While I do not approve of his treatment of said situations, I do believe that just going turbo w/o the supercharger would have been the better call.
With twin turbos you can have 2 smaller turbos that spool up faster and create more boost together rather than one giant one that takes a hair longer to spool and that you will max out it's capabilities sooner. With a twin, you have more room for improvement, too.
I mean really, do your own thing, it's gonna be sweet nonetheless. Go outrageous and do 4 turbos.

I never had an issue with the single turbo. If I wanted to make great power, it would be with a HUGE single. Dark Digital, you are a lying scum bag. The only people on svtp that backed you up, have slow *** cars! Most people on that site said that you won't make over 800 rwhp on just pump. Reread it douchebag.
And also note that the ONE person on SVTP that said that he is going for 1000rwhp on pump, is having a 427 put in his car. Not a 4.6L Based Modular block. Bunch of dumb mother ****ers on that board. Making big power with less cubes = more cylinder pressure = the need for more octane. Of course that makes too much sense for your pea brain to comprehend. Then again, you also believe that running 24 psi boost is safe on pump gas, on a turbo car, lmfao...

Never said running 24#s on pump is safe. But you make enough stuff up as it is so no surprise there. Don't be butt hurt because your cute thread back fired and you got banned. Talk about a failure.
Says the guy with the ****ed up Cobra, lmfao... Yeah, you FAIL! At least I'm smart enough to not drive like a dumbass and wreck my car in the rain. Good job, John Force. Oh, and good luck. Hope your engine stays running for longer than a weak, running 1000 whp on pump, lmfao...
