Default Balancer sparking ?

so i just finished up changing the accessories belt on my snake, not the blower but the one that is the PITA behind the blower belt. Bolted everything up, fired the motor up and checked for problems and i found one. some how small sparks are coming from somewhere where the balancer threads with the lower blower pulley. WTF! shut the motor off, got back under the car and checked everything around the are to see if something was caught up, nothing found. rechecked all the bolts and made sure nothing is rubbing on the pulley. next i spayed the area with degreaser and cleaned it up. put the car in neutral and rotated the engine by hand, nothing seems to be caught up. so i fired the engine up again, then about 30secs later i started to see small sparks again! this is the 2 time ive changed the inner belt but a different car, nothing out of the ordinary. i dont even know how to begin to diagnose the problem. the balancer and the pulley are not wobbling or making any out of the ordinary sounds. any thoughts.

i checked the ignition wires, cop, and cop boots and i didnt find any damage to them. motor runs fine with no misses and revs normal. the lower pulley does fell warmer than the balancer so something might be causing friction. only problem is i can find anything that is getting caught up and the motor spins freely. im going to take off the lower pulley this weekend and take anought look with it outside of the car.

the lower pulley mounting surface was some how rubbing on the balancer. all threads are ok on both lower pulley and balancer. the flat surface that contacts the balancer from the lower pulley after you fully thread it in to the balancer has a small wear spot. ill post a pic later when i get a chance. does anyone have a the lower pulley cage assembly that they are will to sell?
