I too am a die hard manual guy. I've owned 5 previous GT's and all were manuals, kind of a Mustang guy at heart. But to be honest I am really enjoying my '16 GT with the auto and the paddle shifter. I put her into Sport mode toggle switch to Sport+ and turn off traction control. Then it's fun time around town shifting up and down the gears. I'll soon be upgrading my exhaust, CAI and custom tunes and am definitely looking forward to the changes they'll bring about.

Funny post! The new automatics are more than half way between a manual & an older automatic. I would miss the exhaust/engine sounds of shifting a manual, but using Sport Mode once in a while is nearly as good. My last GT was just a 3rd "Toy" car, but I'm going to drive this one far more often, so an auto makes it a lot nicer for a daily driver. I'm glad I went that way!
