2000 V6 Question
I have a 1986 Mustang V6 and I recently got a 2000 Mustang V6 engine for free, but i was wondering if i can Convert the 2000 V6 fuel injected into Carburated? and if so am i still gonna have to change my tranny?
because with carb. i probably wouldnt have to change my wiring harness a few people said and i may actully beable to keep my tranny
and i dont have a job right now so i gotta do everything i can to save as much money as possible

The tranny should be fine, but you're gonna still have to swap out the wiring harness to use the 99-04 intake, if you choose to do so, and you may have to swap out the ecu as well as your old V6 and the sn95 edge v6 are two totally different machines, granted same block, but totally different setup, it would be cheaper for you just to make the few wiring changes to the car than to turn that V6 to a carb.
www.moranav6racing.com has a carbed intake for split-port 3.8s. that should run like an animal if properly setup
