Dont get me wrong, Id probably jump right on a supercharger if I had an extra 2k. But assuming he's stock, I would think you should do some things before that s/c to compliment it...1450 for the sc, installation fees and a dyno tune to get it running great is gonna take most of your money and youll still have stock intake,exhaust....

installation is not hard. he can just get the blower and an SCT xcal2 a drop it on his stock car and expect 250rwhp+ with stock exhaust.
how many blowers have you installed and tuned???
i have done many and wouldn't have suggested it if it was not the right thing to do with $2000.
your supoporting mods consist of what i would reall like to know.
the vortech and procharger kits are made to work with stock cars not only modded cars. do mods help? of course but he can get a damn nice basis and do the rest of the mods later as he saves up more money.
on a stock car he will shave almost 2 seconds off of a 1/4 mile time. no other mod except nitrous can do that for $2000.
he may be happy with just the blower on a stock setup. it will work just fine so where your supporting mods come from is beyond me.
i would really like to know how many engines you have built and how many blower/turbo's you have experience with?
this blower is a hot item now. there are a few guys interested in it now. at least 2 on this site and there are more elsewhere. i would jump on it before it becomes a bidding war. you snooze you lose. and your advise on to hold off is only gonna make him pay more if he hesitates for a few more days if he considers your advise for too long

OH good point cobra232. You don't necessarily need other mods for a blower, sure they help, but a blower for that price, that's freeking nuts. You'll only need supporting mods when you break to 250-300 hp point. At that point you kind of need forged parts, duals, a full tune etc. But stock he'll be just fine.
