Default Changing Thermostat?

ok so i have talked with many mechanics about my car and the most recomended thing is to change the thermostat and see if that fixes the problem and if it does to get the rad flushed and get rid of the car asap, and if that doesnt fix it to sell it for what ever i can get

So my question is how hard is it to change my thermostat my self or should i get it pro done...
if any one knows of a site online that has a walkthrough it would be nice

Default RE: Changing Thermostat?

iv never changed one in a mustang but i have changed one in a toyota pick up and it is not that hard alls you heed is a pair of vice grips metric wreches or sockets and a pan to catch the coolant that is going to run out
