question, i was handed a chip today?
some dude handed me a venom 400 performance control module today, asked if i wanted to buy it, i told him i wanted to try it out first, so he handed it to me, anyways, i was wondering if it will work for my 3.9l, the part number is v49-207, thanks
well, since no one wants to help me out, i'm gonna put it on anyways, where do i hook up the orange wire and green wire? i'm engine dumb, lol, the engine is a v6, 3.9l
just found instructions to it, i gott hook one of the wires to the throttle position sensor (TPS) and the other wire to the Mass Air Flow Sensor (MAF), does anybody know which wire i hook up to which sensor and where to i hook it up to? thanks

Don't buy it. You'll think you're getting hp gains, but you're actually just flooring it while only pressing the gas normally. So its tricking your car's computer into thinking the throttle is fully open, and when you're actually flooring it, nothing is going to be change. Plus you're losing gas mileage.
Real chips are outdated technology and they plug directly into the ECU, they have nothing to do with the MAF, and IAT sensors. In other words, DO NOT INSTALL IT!!!!

You can buy that crap off Egay all day long for like $20. Its a really easy way to get extra hp. You just install the "chip", blow your engine, put a v8 in its place and BAM . . .more hp !!
But seriously don't do it. If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.
