Dont be dumb people, staying catless with the cel on will make you run rich/lean becuase there's too much coming from your engine, your gas mileage WILL SUFFER greatly, trust me, I was running LT catless with mils that didnt work and was feeling it in my pocket.

here in florida we don't have testing but if you are caught without the cats it's a big ticket. so if u gut the cats or go high flow u can trick them.

to the question about shops "doing whatever you want" to the cats, no shop can remove your cats legaly. the shop would be charged a huge fine if they were caught. really, shops arent even alowed to mess with them at all unless they are bad and need replaced.

i live in florida and i know we don't have testing. but i've heard that shops supposedly will remove them in FL and other non-testing states, at least that's what i've heard from thisforum and others.

i want longtubes and a catless h-pipe. is it worth it though to go catless? does it make the car sound that much better? i've also heard from some that it makes the exhaust raspy. this is something i really want to know since i'm going to get my exhuast done in Dec.
