Default Shocks/Struts

my '99 v6 is in desperate need of new shocks. its got 126,000 miles on it, ive put about 3000 on it since i bought the car, shocks and struts are stock though the car has been lowered 2". anyways every little bump always feels like a 2ft low pot hole. i know new shocks will resolve this, since i heard stock shocks on mustangs have proved to not last too long. anyone know of any shocks/struts that will just resolve this roughriding problem, and that will last? thanks .
