Default Squeaking Like Hell

My whole suspension is starting to squeak like hell. Its been chirping over bumps but now its getting pretty bad. What other bushings could be bad except the spring isolators? The local mechanic said he'll put my new springs, shocks, and struts on for $150 so I dont wanna put it on if theres something that could be fixed at the same time.

your going to drop about 550 just in parts.... but the $150 is a pretty good deal as far as labor goes

new springs and struts all around are going to cost that much... you could maybe cut that back to 400 if you go with the cheap stuff..

you should change shox/struts every 60-65k miles anyway for safety. when i had squeeking over bumps, it was the shox.

I would check the rear lower control-arm bushings. Or perhaps the A-arm bushings up front.

I had the same squeek on my 98 stang. I too thought it was the suspension. So I bought the Bullit suspension kit and decided not to replace the lower control arms but was so sure it was a bushing in the lower control arm . Unfortunately I was out of cash. The tech said it was a brake hose holder stop or something to that effect. Nothing to do with the suspension and the part wasn't really nesssary so he took it out...

The good news.. I don't have a squeek and I have a way better handling stang... the bad news... I spent 600 bucks to get rid of the noise when I could have used white spray grease and done it myself for FREE....

cheers
