No need to yell. We are just trying to help you. Mymustang44 also has the windstar so he has more experience with it than i do. But when i run out of ideas like this, if it were me, I would just take the intake off and do it again but slower....It doesnt take that long anyways
Yea it doesn't take long to install plus its not that in depth of an install. There are not alot of things that can go wrong with this. Can you take a couple of pics of your vacuum lines and your whiole setup. that would help alot.
ok i think we got the rpm thing fixed but now the throttle is not turning it is just pulling it back when we push the gas pedal.how do i fix this? we have to open it by hand
i had the same problem with the throttle arm no matter how much i space it it wouldnt open that far and it would start to bend. my solution was to run the throttle cable ontop of the upper bolt the tb almost opens all the way but i really cant notice any hint of a problem. my rpms did go really high at first check your wiring i had a loose wire problem solved. my rpms lag now(when i stop at about 1300-1100 for a minute) but its the same problem some 4.6 guys have im going to make a new gasket for my iac with a smaller hole most likley solve that problem.
