Im new to the modding sorta thing but am starting to learn and getting the drift of things. I have a 3.8L 2000 Mustang stock exept K&N air filter and SLR performance chip. Ive looked at cool air intakes and read different things on them saying they work and then saying there a waist of money. I talked to a tech bout nos and he recommended me getting a supercharger instead. He also recomended me not getting exhaust due to if i put new headers in then i would/might have to change it anyways. I really just dont know what i would have to get done before i could get a supercharger or nos.

1) Since you have a K&N drop in filter, the cold air intake is a waste at this point.

2) If you used the word "NOS" with a tech, and the tech didn't correct you, don't listen to anything that person tells you - he's an idiot. It's called Nitrous. - NOS is a name brand system. Same goes for his suggestion about not getting exhaust. First off, headers are part of your exhaust, and you don't really need to get rid of the stock manifold unless you are serious about making some big power. Even if you get dual exhaust now, you can still swap in aftermarket headers without much hassle.

3) The real questions are these:
How much power do you want to make?
How much money do you have to spend?

I sayed nitrous but was lazy at typing on here, I knew the guy didnt really know what he was talking about sence he sayed this statement "with a supercharger u could be beating corvettes" thats when i walked out the door.

For the questions i just was thinking like 200-300 here and there just things that i can start doing thats simple stuff then after that aprox 1000 at one time. I would like to get up to like 280 N/A but thats prob not resonable.
