what the hell does it mean!?
what does port and polish mean and what does it do? "I would rebuild the stock 3.8 and stroke it to a 4.2 using all forged internals then go ahead with the mods" can someone be kind enough to explain this to me?
Stroker kits are a good mod. They are expensive but if you want a naturally aspirated (sp.) car they are great. Plus you have a lighter block and engine, and with a lighter engine the part move quicker, therefore, your car is quicker. Pot, like Booze said is making the intake or outtake bigger in the head. Polish is where they take a tool and run it through the heads and cylinders too, to put a groove so the air and fuel mixture mixes better. I am sure that is how and why it is done but the names (head, cyclinders, in/out take) maybe wrong. I am not very good with engine stuff names, but I can work on them, that is all that matters.
