Yeah, I definitely think he is mistaken, o2 sensors are not that cheap. The best(cheapest) place to get the Ford brand o2's is directfordparts.com

I would definitely stick with OEM when it comes to sensors. Ford's MSRP is around $70 for the o2 sensor. I like to get my parts from this site: http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...layCatalogid=0

mmyeaahh seee.
I paid 49.99 at NAPA on Friday for one but I was under the impression that all four were the same. No?
If not, I got lucky as hell because he never asked front or rear and I just got under the car and sniped away to remove it.

Hmm mine was the Bosch brand as well, maybe my friend gave me a discount since he worked there? But that's one Hell of a price drop o.o i'll double check the box (its been well over a year since I've bought it, hopefully my memory isn't failing me yet!)

update: Ok I just checked it and yeah I spent $23.28 on it (I don't know what sensor I bought for $6, but I've had to buy a lot of things since then so most likely got my items mixed up). But yeah I spent $23.28 and checked online and saw the Bosch premium o2 sensors were $47 something, so my friend just gave me a discount when he worked there I guess. Still I would go ahead and spend the $47 for it so you have a brand new sensor under there.

Here it is, I put my old one in the box. It's I replaced my bank 2 sensor 1 upstream
