Default stuck

hello everyone. i need some help with my 96 stang. im trying to fix a 3.8 v6. when i bought it the problem with the engine was the timing chain and sprockets were snapped. so i pulled the engine out and dissasembled everything but the rotating assembley. I installed new main bearings because i assumed the problem was oil and the bearings were burned. next i sent the heads out for a valve job. the machine shop said all valves were bent. they inspected the cam and said it was good. So i cleaned everything and started assembley. everything was good right up until i torqued the cam bolt and this is the problem. heads are off and timing chain assembley will not spin. What could this be please help. Maybe cam spacer but im really lost. any help will be greatley appreciated. thank bill

ok guys, i think i found the problem. the thrust plate is really marked up and the back of the spacer is too. my quess is the previous owner ran the engine dry of oil so no oil to the surface area in between the thrust plate and spacer. there is 3 slots on either side of the thrust plate where an oil passages are made in the plate. monday ill try to get a set from super six and hopefully this will fix the problem.
