Im 18 and got my stang when i was 17, oh how i loved that car. But recently crashed it, nothing big just spun out and hit the sidewalk with my left rear tier, broke the disk break and bent my axle, it is the 2000 v6 and it has so much power. Its all stock, 100%. Moral of the story is to be careful, no matter what engine, what car or whats the weather, a car is still something dangerous. Don't text and drive! C:

update i guess haha. So i was talking to my mom and she is cool with a gt! The only thing she hates is the MPG a v8 will get. So she is thinking i should get a v6 wich she thinks will be better. Myy truck now gets 12mpg city , which is all i do(for the most part). How bad is gas mileage for a V8?

Also could some plz list some benifits of having a GT vs V6..... i explained to her that if i got a V6 i would just dump $600+ just on a exshaust.

I completely agree with the guy above regardless of whether its a GT or a V6 it is easy to get into an accident in any type of car that you are driving. You could drive the car around with it just under your moms name. If you were to get pulled over you could say that you were just getting something for your mom. But the main point is that if you were to crash the car or even a little bump somewhere that is expensive to fix. If you are not listed under the car and insured under the car with your name insurance may refuse to pay to fix the car.
