Base model V6 lurches into gear and almost stalls when coming to a stop
Ive noticed when i first put my vehicle into gear, forward or reverse, the car lurches in that direction. It does this intermittently on a cold vehicle start up as well as a warm vehicle start up. I've checked the driveshaft for any type of play. I was thinking that it was maybe the u-joints. There is no play in the driveshaft. Any ideas? Also, i think my MAF sensor might be dirty, when i stop at a stopsign/stop light, my RPMs drop and it feels like the car is going to stall. On rare occasions, my engine will idle irrationally. How can i clean the MAF and what other parts might cause the idle to act in this way? I take good care of my vehicle so its not the air filter or a lack of general maintenance. Ive never cleaned the MAF though. Thanks again
