17x9 tires

RE: 17x9 tires
Hankook Ventus or Kuhmo or Fulda Extremo are all around $100/piece in 275-40-17
do not use 275-40's in the back and 245-45's up front. all this does is eliminate any chance of any tyoe of rotation of the tires if you go with a directional tread which most tires in the above sizes are. even if you get an asemmetrical tread you can only rotate side to side and not front to back.
275-40's fit just fine on all 4 corners and handle better than using 275's back and 245's up front.
there is no advantage whatsoever to using 275's rear and 245's up front
here is a pic of my car with Kuhmo 275's all the way around on 17x8 98 cobra's
here is a closeup of the 275 Kuhmo's tread
and a pic of the back of my car with 275 Ventus's

RE: 17x9 tires
Ive got some Dayton 245/45/17ZR tires for 160 each. Im really happy with them and they get really good traction on all conditions.
