Default 17x9 tires

I got some 17x9 rims for christmas, and Im gonna be needing some tires. Any reccomendations on what tires/ what I should be paying for em? Thanks guys!

got mine from discount tire, they are H-rated (up to 135 mph)...good enough for me

Depends on how much money you have for brands, but I must say you should get 275's in the back and 245's up front.

Hankook Ventus or Kuhmo or Fulda Extremo are all around $100/piece in 275-40-17

do not use 275-40's in the back and 245-45's up front. all this does is eliminate any chance of any tyoe of rotation of the tires if you go with a directional tread which most tires in the above sizes are. even if you get an asemmetrical tread you can only rotate side to side and not front to back.

275-40's fit just fine on all 4 corners and handle better than using 275's back and 245's up front.

there is no advantage whatsoever to using 275's rear and 245's up front

Ive got some Dayton 245/45/17ZR tires for 160 each. Im really happy with them and they get really good traction on all conditions.
