Derrick if you are looking for stage 2 heads my friend has a pair he has been tring to sell for a long time, I could probally get you a deal on them.

I would wait on getting the bore done on the block until you have your .030" over pistions, that way the machine can have the pistions when you are getting the bore done and get an exact match.

So I read this thread and you guys have me worried. Talking of "going through" 4-5 engine builds? What??

I *had* plans of having my engine built with parts from SSM, but geeze...if it's not going to last long miles why waste that kind of money?

Or did you just use cheap parts? Or did you rip on it everyday? Please, give me some reassurance because I love my stang... lol

X2 SSM's parts are second to none. I'm hoping to build it right the first time and not have issuies for a long time.
Where are you in tx are you brxan?

If you are going to do a nice build, go ahead and do the split port swap in the process. You'll be very happy you did.

Indeed. Split port and then using the m112 would be great..... buuut I am a little apprehensive about the amount of modification. Plus I'll be having a shop install the motor so unless they are willing to do the mods for the split port swap then I will be sort of stuck.
