soo my brakes are shot again =\ long story short a half cup of water dumped on my face this morning when I reached up under the dash and felt around the pedal boot for a leak, found a hole the size of my index finger and tried to poke it open to get a better look and a s*** ton of water just came pouring out.. and I was wondering why my MC was sticking

Since picking up the '98, I've dabbled in the 4.6L section and have decided there are a lot of loud mouth know nothings who only car about looking fast and wasting money to do it in that section.

that's sort of to be expected though Matt. they bought a GT mustang, marketed to be fast from the factory. Over here we have the underdogs, dedicated to shutting people like that up.

Tore apart the majority of that 1997 singlport engine I picked up a couple weeks ago. I'm going to make a thread and post some pics up tomorrow maybe, but that's the block I'm going to use in the 4.2l build. I'm most likely just going to pick up a forged rotating assy and H series Bearings from Tom Y at SSM.

This engine was TRASHED, you'll see tomorrow, but here's an example... have you ever seen a bolt stuck under a valve so it cannot shut?

If your going to build a forged motor for high horsepower I wouldn't use a 97 block

I was looking at some pics (rather poor quality) and it looks like the Steeda wing is a universal design with removable posts.

Its hard to tell because google's image search sucks so much but if thats true then it would be possible to swap posts.

Do you know how to remove and replace the stock posts with the 01-04 shorter ones?

It's all one form. Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics.

Matt, I've been meaning to ask, what all had you done to the sixer for weight reduction? I have been seriously considering finishing gutting mine...

And also, we got snow today...crazy... 4:10s + 8.8 = amusing, to say the least...
