were supposed to get a storm sunday night/monday...right now my truck is taken apart for an alternator and have some maintence to do on it. nothing like waiting till the last minute to get it ready for plowing

disassembled and cleaned the lifters and pushrods today for reuse in the built engine. I swear guys, I can't even tell you how much of a learning experience all this has been.

If you ever find a good deal on an engine like I did, I strongly suggest buying it, even if it's just to tear it apart for learning purposes.

UPDATE: found a totalled GT at a local U-pull-it today with 3.73 gears and am going back next weekend to pull the rear end, huge success =)

thats actually pretty surprising alex, people would pay for the work you do, hell i would!

storm is supposed to come in tonight for me , starting up the resort thursday, anyone going to 7springs this ski season come say hi (and if my posting seems to stop thats why kuz ill be running on like no sleep every day)

and woahpony, i would love to tear apart an engine, may someday, but i am not a fan of tearing mine apart lol

I thought about picking up a civic/integra motor of craigslist for just that reason, just to tear it apart and learn, and because you can get one of em for next to nothing

I rebuilt a DOHC civic motor a couple months ago, not that bad, hardest part is setting the cam timing correctly and HOLDING them in place lol
