So i got a question non-mustang related as most of you know i sold the mustang and my new car is an 05 2.4 5 speed accord coupe. Well for my birthday I was thinking of doing a full exhaust. I can get it done, tsx after-market header (2-3 inches longer than the aftermarket accord one so basically a "longtube" for it), high flow cat, and megan oe-rs exhaust for under $600. Now i know I won't gain a lot of power since its a little 4 cylinder honda my concern is making it sound like a rice rocket. Do you guys think this setup will sound like ****? I'm keeping the cat, so I don't think it will since the megan exhaust is supposed to sound similar to stock just more free flowing. Opinions? Thanks

I dont know what the construction of the Megan muffler is but if its anything like Borla makes them then you should be fine. Its the huge straight through design then its gunna sound crappy.

Not a big straight through design muffler. And six I did the youtube thing awhile back but could never find one that matched my setup, so I was just asking around.

if it sounds like that then i guess its not bad. no rumbly crackly crap when they let off the gas so i think it sounds fine. I think people will give you crap for having any kind of exhaust on a honda, its the nature of the beast now a days. oh and be prepared to be bugged by ricer kids to race, louder than stock mufflers always attract the idiots

I know people might give me crap, but I can live with that. I'm just looking to open up the exhaust and a little more power, not for a loud exhaust. Kids can bug me all they want, won't bother me haha
