put about 100 miles on the mustang this weekend. steering rack is making a terrible grinding sound that i can not find any videos that sound anywhere close to what mine sounds like. anyways, im to the point, if the rack breaks, f-it, at least ill know for sure its the rack

Oh sweeeet jeeesssuuussss is this teardown a pain in the ***. I really don't have the right tools for this at all. Borrowing a hoist and a stand from a buddy So I can just pull the entire god damn thing out and throw it on a stand and work on it in the basement.

If it was me, i would have used a 572. but the PO built it with a ZZ502, so thats whats in it. most are running mid-11's with them, so its not bad.
