[sm=headbang.gif] Ok, I burned a vacation day to take my car in to the dealer on Friday. Told them what I had done, showed them receipts for all of the individual parts another dealer sold me (not the kit, individual parts) and explained to them that my lights still didn't work. They done a flash on relay box and 3 hours later charge me $82 to tell me "all are up to date"....
They did give me a print out on the pony grill installation instructions, which don't tell you anything, just show a bunch of pictures. Heres what I've found.... I've got the wrong harness! I replaced my factory harness with I guess the GT harness, I'm really not sure. Everything plugs up with the exception of the anti-theft hood latch which my car doesn't have. The poney harness looks alot like what I invision the SS harness to look like. It runs through the firewall to the switch and there is some wire splicing required near the relay box. I've spent $610 so far and waisted a vacation day, not to mention EVERY dealer I've been too has hired some of the most "I don't give a ****" kind of people I have ever encountered in my life. Today I'll be removing every item I've bought and putting it all back to stock! I'll probably get a "felony assault" charge on me when they try to charge me a re-stock fee! That'll still be cheaper than trying to get these f**king lights to work!! This was my first mod to my car and very well may be my last.

Don't let it be your last! Modding is so much fun and rewarding when things go RIGHT. How about instead of sending everything you got back and paying a restock fee...just sell or auction it off. There may be people who are looking for just those individual parts like the grille (hint, hint), switch and such. Oh, and I feel ya on the "I don't give a F@$k" attitude of most shop workers at dealerships. We only have one Ford dealership here unless you want to drive over 50 miles away; and they're parts/service department is the same way. They're body shop guys are top notch; it's just they service/sales people that suck. Anyway...just my two cents.
