One draw back is that the Micro tuner only lets you tune 87 octane for the V6. The GT also operates off the same unit, and it can use those tunes. As much as gas costs these days though, I couldn't afford to put 93 in my tank.

cant say whether or not the afe is better than thee K&N, but i run consistent 14.5's and low 14.6's with my v6 mustang and im running the K&N

Yeah, I presently have a K&N drop-in; I'm changing to the AFE.

You went from the AFE to the K&N? That's a bit of a loss in gains, eh? AFE has been shown to have 12 hp... the K&N has 7. Or is your sig just not updated?

Thanks for the offer, I'm waiting on an answer from a guy on ebay I made an offer to. I'll let you know.
