Throttle body spacers--Are they worth it?

This seems like a simple mod but does it really do anything?

If so, any recommendations on which ones are better?
Will it work with a CAI?

Inquirying minds want to know

According to everyone else, theres no HP gain, but it does help out a little bit with throttle response but thats it ,really just a waste of money.
