Yeah, a bunch of dummies. All I know is when the repair shop tells me I need a new waternator, and my blinker fluid is low, I believe them.

I could see using engine braking coming down mountains, but just out on the highway, that's what brakes are made for. But the topic wasn't engine braking, it was turning off the O/D for some mystical engine saving juju. I doubt anyone will hear "sorry your transmission is shot because you failed to turn off the over drive when you pulled into your subdivision."
