On cars with Traction Control will there have to be something extra done when putting in a LSD???

you should strongly consider doing gears 3.73 or 4.10

+1, i would have a set of 4.10s put in with it, stangmods.com has a tlok, drivetrainspecialists.com has a detroit true trac

true trac doesnt use clutches, its a stronger unit, some people have had luck with their tloks, but i dont trust em, as ive talked to people as well as broken one myself, and i know, atleast with the way i drive, that it wouldnt last long for me.

there have been a few people who have broken them on stock 99-04 v6 power with DRs, and suspention work on a 5k launch

yes you need a bering kit with the gears, and no matter what you run, i would recomend a girdle as well, its just extra insurance
