LSD
After reading those endles posts I still dont know what to get. T-lock or true track, I decided on 3:73s but dont know what LSD to get, t-lock is a bit cheaper, and I might go with a Vortech Hi-output supercharger somewhere down the line...........how is that stock driveshaft for those gear updates though????

It should hold up pretty well unless you plan on beating the hell out of it on a regular basis.
I think a few of the supercharged guys run the T-LOC, they can chime in when they read this.
I like mine, but I kept the 3.31 gears for my 190 mile a day commute.

T-LOC is covered under your factory warranty when installed by a Ford dealer.

RE: LSD
the tlok is not a stock part on the stang, thus, is not covered under warrenty,
the tlok was developed for the bronco2/ranger with the 2.9 v6 with an lsd option, they had 120 BHP, some people have had luck with them great, ive had bad experiences with 8.8s which are "stronger" on stock mach 1 power

Yes and Yes.
MPG has gone up to 32MPG at 70 (more at 65, but "I can't drive 65").
HP hasdefinitely increased.
Even the "bogging" after a long cruise has disappeared! (there is a TSB on this that I had "fixed" at the dealer - new fuel pump - it didn't stop the problem)... the new pipes did!
Of course, the downside is the vibration (ie drone)... but once you learn how to alter your throttle, you can minimize this effectfairly easily.
Personally, I like it. Reminds me of my old 67 Corvair.
Here's some proof of mileage below.

PS: Yes, there is 3,000 miles difference in 1 month.

only the GTs came with em so there the only ones with the warrenty to cover em, if something happens to yours you could always hope the guy working the counter is as smart as the others and try and pass it off
