bump and repost
_______
Ok, weird. It makes this whistle between about 1300 and 1900 RPMs and only when in drive. I had a friend press on the gas while it was parked and it didn't make that noise. I then took it down the road and sure enough, there it is again. However, I did notice that the plastic tube that sticks out of the valve cover and connects to the vacuum hose on the driver's side is wobbly, like it's not all the way tight against the valve cover, so I'm thinking that may be the culprit. I doubt it is supposed to be wobbly like that. Any ideas anyone?Does your plastic vacuum tube on your valve cover move at all?

So can ANYONE tell me if their little PCV tube sticking out of the valve cover is a little wobbly or loose at all on their car?

is it one of those flexible hoses? if so make sure its REALLY tight. thats the only thing i can think of that would make that sound. is the filter on the intake all the way? i would just make sure everything is really tight. who knows it could be normal.

thanks ron i cant waite! were gonna do a comparison on the dyno between the MRT gains, and the TI gains. btw did u ever run the car in the quarter with just the TI intake and Axle back? or did u already have the 3.73 and t-lok in? im curious to what i will run, im hoping to be in the high 14's.

No, I checkedboth ends of the hose, filter, intake tube on tb. They are all tight, I made sure of it on initial install. What I am asking about is this: there is the hose that runs from the intake tube to this plastic fitting that sticks out of the valve cover. This plastic fitting is loose on the valve cover / i can move it a little / it's not tight on the valve cover. I wouldn't think it is suppose to do that. Can someone check this out on their car and see if it is supposed to be this way?
