I will lock this thread or delete it if it keeps it up.....I wont name names but I have read the whole dizzying thread and it has made me sick! Get back to what the OP asks...TS vs centri...which is best/do you prefer...and post your opinions about that! Thanks J S197 section mod

I haven't seen much on it but I really like the set up of the Saleen twin screw. I am leaning toward that for mine. Too bad they don't offer one for a 6. I have run turbos and roots blowers and like both for different reasons. I really like the roots, or better yet, twin screw for street and occasional track because of the bottom end torque and instant power. If it was a track vehicle I would go with a turbo or centrifigal S/C because the revs will be up in the boost all the time. This is just one man's humble opinion. Also, if an intercooler is available, I would definately get one. You can make more power on less boost because the coolerairhas more density and additional timing can be used (I would be conservative with the timing on a street vehicle). The other benefit of lower boost is less strain on engine parts.

if I remember right the x charger runs between I think 4-6lbs of boost on the cali kit and I think 8 or so on the hi-po kit
The centri kits run 8-9 on the non-intercooled and 10-12 intercooled. I think there are a few even higher than that

The X charger boost pressure depends on what pulley you run. I believe the numbers are closer to 6-7.5 lbs for the 3.0 (standard) pulley while the 2.8 pulley is around 9 lbs.

Stock centri's run 10psi intercooled and 8psi non-intercooled but people like running higher psi pulley's on them.
X-charger, I think bballlord's numbers are right^.
