Rough day with a good ending...

RE: Rough day with a good ending...
Slacker, shop guy told me today that 300 miles was good enough before i start hotrodding it...haha. i also chose 3.73's w/t-lok since i dont want to constantly be running at high RPM's, even though i realize it can be tons of fun. the shop is installing new ford oem 3.73's. he said other brands have a tendency to whine. good luck with the springs ODD.

Lol thanks for the info Sancho. I'm going with the same setup as I mentioned before, FRPP duals, FRPP 3.73s w/Tlok, and a CAI/Tuner combo...not sure where I'm getting that from yet though, everyone seems to love whichever one they have be it Bama, Brenspeed, Evo, or VMP, so I'm not sure which to get.

Well I went with 3.73's/t-lok, frpp springs, and C&L CAI/Bama tunes all of which will be installed and done today so I will let you know how it all works together

That always happens to me. When I installed my CAI and tune it rained for 3 days.
When I had my gears, tlok and springs installed.. we were in this cycle of snow and ice.

Yep and springs installed too, but its pouring down rain right now, so after dinner I get to go for a review ride. I already went for a little spin, and needless to say I came home with a smile.

And I thought I had the monopoly on bad luck.
Sorry to hear of the mis-fortune.
Hopefully the machine wont freak out when the new rim is on it.
Seems like operator error and not the poor ol machines fault.
Maybe dont let the same individual mount the new rim/tire?
