Hey pascal doe sthe shaker hood give any improvements or is it for show mostly.

 

Well, it's functional since you bring fresh air into the air box...
It's not enought though, for HP gains. I didn't notice a difference.

As far as K&N intake, I think it would be totally unfunctional.
If you don't have an enclosed box like the OEM, then the air disperses everywhere but the mass air valve.

Call CDC tomorrow.
They can at least, fax you the dimensions.

 

I too am looking to find a GT CDC shaker scoop. If anyone knows of one , please let me know.
