Hey everyone,

I just put a single Flowmaster muffler on my car, and while it makes a great deep rumble, right before I shift, I hear this rattling noise. That wasn't there before I installed this Flowmaster. Any ideas?

re-check the bolts... make sure the band clamp is tight and re-check the hanger bolts too to make sure they haven't mysteriously loosened themselves. sounds like somethings loose... but check it fast in case it's something more serious!

typical junk flowmaster i had one that the baffle came un welded lol i wont buy them no more not made real wellat all

I have to agree, I've had my fair share of Rustmasters.

Do you have the single axle back AT? If so it's missing a primary hanger and if you do a search you will see lots of guys complaining of rattling.

Just sounds like somethings loose. I had teh same problem with my GT takeoff. Check if any of the bolts have become loose.

I don't have any problems with my flowmaster muffs, I love my exhaust and maybe if you welded the brackets and bolted them they wouldnt rattle

Probably nothing wrong with the muffler. My guess would be a loose hanger.
