most dealers with 10w 30 or 5w 30. it comes to them in bulk. if you race the car or drive it hard go 3000 miles. if you start putting full synthetic in it you always have to have full synthetic in it. i would NEVER go 5000 miles on any oil.
thats complete bull****, ive ran everything from cam2 to amsoil in all my vehicles and ive never had a problem with any of them switching back... i ran amsoil for a while in my stang and swapped over to quater state dino oil and had no problems... id have no problem going 5k plus on any oil, its the filter i wouldnt go 5k on
depends on the milage what weight i run, when my car was on warrenty, it got 520 that ford recomends, over 50k i swapped to 530. now at 90k in the winter i still run the 530 but from april to november i run 1030
